About Rubix

RUBIX, is a first generation Mexican-American artist with Indigenous roots in Chihuahua, Mexico. Born, raised and still residing in San Jose, RUBIX, grew up in a system impacted home where creativity was her safe form of expression.

The passion for drawing, coloring and creating came at an early age. Influenced by different forms of art and fueled by the struggle, RUBIX, dreamed of a more colorful path for her and others alike.

The loss of a dear friend and fellow Artist in 2013, Anthony "Stuck" Garcia, is what started RUBIX's unexpected career as an artist. Using this art form as a path of healing for herself, she saw the impact it had on others as well.  Through creating art, sponsoring events, volunteering and working with fellow San Jose small businesses and Organizations to bring funds and change to her own community,  RUBIX uses her art and growing brand as her medicine to the world.
